Vijay Iyengar is the Founder and Managing Director of Agrocorp International Pte Ltd; a Singapore based International Commodity Trading House with a footprint across the globe. The Company specializes in the physical trading of Agricultural Commodities such as Wheat, Rice, Pulses & Beans, Sugar, and Oil Seeds Handling 3 Million tonnes of physical commodities a year.
Mr Iyengar holds a B Tech (Chemical Engineering) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology – Mumbai and an MBA from Cornell University. He is also one of the founding Directors of Parameswara Holdings Ltd & a Board member of Singapore Mercantile Exchange and India International Insurance Pte Ltd. Mr. Iyengar is currently the Chairman of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice Chairman of Singapore Business Federation, member of Steering Committee of Network India, Alternate Member of the National Wages Council and is on the PA Talents Advisory Council for the years 2007 to 2011.
